Post-bath conversation
Set scene. Mommy and Nick are sitting on the floor outside of the bathtub drying off Nick and getting his pajamas on. Nate and Kyra are already finished and up in the living room with Grandma.
Nick: Mommy, you're a stink pot.
Mommy: I'm a what?!?
Nick: You're a stink pot and I'm a Mommy.
Mommy: So if you're a mommy and I'm a stink pot, does that make me a Nick?
Nick: Yep and I'm a mommy.
Mommy: You're silly.
Mommy and Nick finish putting on pajamas.
Nick: Mommy, I want to see in the mirror. Pick me up.
Mommy: Do you think you're handsome?
Nick: Yeah, pick me up. I want to see.
Mommy picks Nick up to look in the mirror.
Mommy: So are you handsome?
Nick: I'm a turtle.
End Scene.

I love those conversations! They totally make your day!! :)
If only you had video tape in your brain so you could record those for when they're teenagers.

all i can say to that is "i'll be 3 in you, uncle march". ;-)

As Uncle Paul so elegantly proved, Lex, we did. :) That is too funny. The things we say when we were young that will never ever die. To some I think I will be Nannee forever.
